Our projects and collaborations

Sinestesia Olfativa (Olfactory Synesthesia)

Olfactory Synesthesia is a contemporary art project composed of 10 projects that were presented from July 25, 2019 to March 9, 2020 at the Perfume Museum in Mexico City.

It consists of site-specific works developed by the artists: Tania Candiani, Maurycy Gomulicki, Jerónimo Hagerman, Interspecifics, Fritzia Irízar, Andrea Martínez, César Martínez, Juan José Rivas, Rogelio Sosa and Carolina Van Waeyenberge.

The curatorship of Iván Edeza takes as a curatorial axis the neurological phenomenon that leads to the simultaneous experience between two or more senses, synesthesia, specifically with the possibility of smelling sounds and images.

Each of the works of art is a product of the previous research and production of the guest artists. They use elements to provoke experiences, seeking the simultaneity of perception.

Each artist seeks to overflow the traditional means and to create works of art in which the research process is consolidated in an effective way, as it can be corroborated in their respective professional trajectories.

The project was developed by a team of professionals and was produced with resources granted through EFIARTES (Fiscal Stimulus Program of the National Institute of Fine Arts and the Ministry of Finance and Public Credit).

La Trampa (The Trap)

Exhibition project in collaboration with Trampa gráfica.

It benefited 25 graphic artists and 1 collective with the exhibition of their artistic proposals in 2016.
